I. Job Objective

Expectation: Complete a minimum of 50 analyzed and standardized learning activities for Robot AI by May 30.

Step Up is looking for a Freelance Academic Analyst to evaluate and deeply analyze English learning activities for children aged 5–7 at A1 CEFR level. The goal is to identify activities that align with our academic direction and are suitable for integration into the AI Robot learning system.


II. Main Roles & Responsibilities

You will be provided with a list of learning activities from our internal team and be responsible for:

Deep academic analysis:

  • Based on core principles and teaching methods for young English learners (e.g., scaffolding, eliciting, TPR, chunking, etc.) + explain it from the side of brain science principles and psychology principles,etc

  • Identifying and describing key components of each learning activity:

    • Pacing
    • Student behaviors
    • Roles of the teacher/virtual assistant

  • Analyzing the relationship between elements:

    • Which elements are essential and mandatory
    • Which can be adjusted or omitted
    • Feasible variations of the activity

Standardizing activities using a provided template:

  • Activity name
  • Implementation method
  • Detailed academic analysis
  • Suggested variations for different contexts (online/offline, 1-on-1/group)


III. Required Qualifications

Academic experience and understanding:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing English learning activities for young children
  • Solid grasp of learning principles and methodologies for early English education
  • Ability to analyze why a method or activity is effective or ineffective in various contexts

Systematic thinking and analytical skills:

  • Ability to identify structures and logic in learning activities
  • Analyze core elements and possible variations
  • Work independently, proactively, and meet deadlines

Understanding of real-life application:

  • Experience in implementing learning activities in various settings: offline/online, group/1-on-1
  • Ability to advise or adjust activities to fit specific contexts

IV. Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in academic or methodology R&D departments at reputable English centers
  • Experience contributing to educational technology or digital learning product development

💰 Compensation & Benefits

Rate: Negotiable based on output quality and alignment
👉 Up to 40,000,000 VND for the full package upon meeting deliverable standards

Long-term collaboration opportunities:

If suitable, you may be invited to join future education product projects as an academic analyst or reviewer (including Robot AI, learning apps, and personalized learning modules).
