I. JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Learning Design Specialist – Early Childhood English Learning (Full-time)
The Learning Design Specialist will play a key role in developing self-learning activities for children aged 5-7 at the A1 level, ensuring that learning is engaging, effective, and interactive. This role requires a deep understanding of early childhood learning principles, gamified education strategies, and digital learning experiences.
Your mission is to create high-quality self-learning activities that foster language acquisition, engagement, and independent learning in young learners.
To achieve this, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing interactive learning activities that align with young children’s cognitive and linguistic development.
- Ensuring all activities encourage active participation through games, storytelling, visual supports, and interactive challenges.
- Creating structured learning paths that follow progressive difficulty levels, chunk-based language learning, and age-appropriate scaffolding.
- Iterating and refining activities based on user testing, learner engagement metrics, and feedback.
- Collaborating with UX/UI designers and developers to ensure a seamless digital learning experience.
Examples of the Problems You Will Solve:
- How can we design engaging, play-based self-learning activities that keep children interested?
- What types of interactivity work best for robot platforms, ensuring children learn effectively on their own?
- How do we ensure children stay motivated and retain what they’ve learned without a teacher’s direct guidance?
Working Hours: 08:30 AM – 6:00 PM, with a 1.5-hour lunch break.
Monday to Friday, weekends off.
Location: Nam Trung Yen Urban Area, Cau Giay, Ha Noi.
II. REQUIREMENTS
Must have:
– Proficiency in English: Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Minimum 2-3 years of experience in curriculum design, instructional design, or early childhood English teaching.
– Expertise in early childhood learning principles: Understanding how young learners acquire language and best practices for teaching them.
– Ability to design highly interactive, self-learning experiences using gamification, storytelling, and structured scaffolding.
– Strong creativity and problem-solving skills to create engaging, effective activities for young children.
Nice to have:
– Experience with digital learning platforms or edtech product development.
– Knowledge of game-based learning principles and how to apply them in language acquisition.
– Experience in developing bilingual learning resources (English + learner’s native language).
– Strong knowledge in one or more of the following fields: Science of Learning, Psychology, Education.
– Strong UX mindset: Ability to design activities that are both fun and educational for self-directed learning.

- Monthly salary: 16,000,000 VND – 25,000,000 VND depending on experience.
